About Us

Shankar Adiseshan is an internationally acclaimed photographer based in Toronto, Canada. Shankar has built a world-class portfolio through the creative expression of colour and form. His work has been published in magazines, books, travel guides, advertisements, brochures and business websites for clients in India, the Middle East, U.S.A and Canada.

He is captivated by the design and structure of buildings and fascinated by the transformation of a building between dawn and dusk, especially during the blue hour of twilight.

To Shankar, every building tells a story once inspired by an architect. So, photographing architecture is the passionate pursuit of perfection, revealing the heroes of the story through the exploration of form, function and light.

Shankar’s favourite projects are commissions where he is assigned to work in-depth to develop a library of images for a feature story, annual report, architect or interior design project portfolio or corporate stock photography.

He was awarded the distinction of Associate by the Royal Photographic Society (UK) in July 2000 and honoured with a cover story in RPS Journal for his work on Burj Al Arab – Arabian Splendor (hospitality architecture photography).

Devotion to the art of world-class photography is complemented by Shankar’s natural curiosity, gentle nature, and professional demeanor.
